Network for religious studies and clinical psychology

This is a network for students, researchers and clinicians who are interested in the importance of religion and faith when it comes to human development, well-being and creating meaning, as well as a psychological framework of theories.

This network conducts seminars and invites lecturers who work with issues of religion and beliefs in relation to clinical practice or theory. One aim is, based on an interdisciplinary perspective, to examine and discuss how religion and beliefs can be integrated into clinical practice. Another aim is to make the network a platform where research and clinical practice can meet.

Leaders

The network is run by Elisabeth Punzi, licensed psychologist and PhD, Lisa Rudolfsson, PhD from the Department of Psychology, University of Gothenburg, together with Niclas Hagen, PhD and coordinator of Medical Humanities at the University of Gothenburg.

They conduct research and teaching on religious beliefs in the context of counselling.
